I suggest these men be better start working through their issues with a therapist (it’s normally abandonment issues; mummy never loved me type issues) than post abuse online or too individual ladies as this abuse has consequences and destroys lives.  And is also illegal.

This punting forum has recently been cleaning up its site, as it got investigated by ICO for data protection breaches (which carries upto 50k fine per breach).

It regularly outs ladies’ personal details and incites violence against sex workers. Now everyone is entitled to write a review about their experiences with a sex worker, however outing personal details and putting sex workers risk is another matter, which they regularly do.

When escort gets a review, positive, neutral or negative the abuse we get (even positive review) always go through roof. When people are abusing you via email / text, that abuse can then lead to physical violence, sex workers are the highest risk of women for violence, being robbed, sexual assault / rape and even murder.

There are also cases where ladies are in domestic violence situations / have restraining orders against exes/ stalker and court cases ongoing etc and get outed on that forum and it puts them at risk/ or going through custody battles in family courts etc.

Punting forum keyboard warriors what is wrong with you? Do you not realise escorts have a right to privacy same as you? Imagine outrage if your details were outed?

So, what can you do about it?

Actually, quite a lot.

If you have had personal details, put on there that may identify you personally there are laws that protect you.

If you have had your address posted/ or she works from home – this is identifying, you.

If you had anything like she’s got this and that tattoo or this medical condition – this is identifying information.

I suggest any escort having problems speak to a sex worker charity about removing this or contact the ICO – get a case worker there, you can stay anonymous. ICO can get content removed and fine the website up to 50 k per breach.

There’s also legal / court action – yes you can get damages off a website if your personal details have been outed, costs money but the website be forced to pay damages through the court, your court costs on top. But when several ladies do it, it interesting how a website suddenly changes its policies and cleans up its site or goes bankrupt!

Abuse / harassment / threats via text / msg can be reported to National Ugly mugs who work with police. Harassment and malicious communications laws are now being taken very serious by police. So, if you are a victim, please report and stand up as often abuse / harassment / stalking often leads to physical violence .

I’m sorry this is such a negative blog compared to my usual happy blog. But I think genuine clients really don’t have a clue what escorts must deal with on daily basis.
